Jamie Macpherson is a Vancouver-based tattoo artist with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He began his journey in 1999, when he walked into a small tattoo shop in the back of a hair salon in Chilliwack, British Columbia, and was immediately captivated by the art of tattooing.

After honing his skills through an apprenticeship at The Twilight Zone, Jamie has established himself as a master of Japanese tattooing, and is known for his unique and intricate designs. He has worked with some of the most renowned artists in the industry, including Jean Labordette, Filip Leu, Titine Leu, Kurt Wiscombe and Paul Booth. In 2016, Jamie was even a part of the tattoo exhibit at the Royal Ontario Museum, the largest museum in North America, where he collaborated with other artists on large paintings that sold.

Throughout his career, Jamie has also had the privilege of working with legendary tattoo artists such as John the Dutchman, Kurt Wiscombe, Ichibay, and the Leu family. He has also written a best-selling ebook on the Tattoo Life website, which is the largest tattoo publisher in the world.

Currently, Jamie is working at his own shop in Vancouver, Canada called Hidden Dragon Tattoo, where he continues to push the boundaries of his art and inspire others through his unique style and story. He is a true testament to the fact that with passion, dedication, and a willingness to learn, anyone can achieve their dreams.
